Mr. Jacobs-Johnson (JJ) is the Associate Director for Quality Assurance and Lab Services. JJ manages the quality assurance and global lab IT services in close partnership with P&G's Corporate Quality Assurance function to deliver compliance, quality, and value to our Sectors and Business Units. JJ is also the Business Information Security leader for the Innovation, Design, and Quality organization. JJ has delivered solutions and managed services for CBD, R&D, PS/QA with a strong track record of successfully delivering IT divestitures and acquisitions.
Colgate-Palmolive
Rich Sullivan is currently the Worldwide Director of Knowledge Management at Colgate-Palmolive. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in physical inorganic chemistry. Rich has over 29 years of experience working in oral care for Colgate Palmolive and is considered one Colgate's senior technical experts in the area of oral care research and development. He has led technical teams that developed many Colgate oral care products currently in the market today and has been responsible for conducting numerous studies to illustrate and document the benefits of many oral care products. As the head of Global Knowledge Management, Rich and his team interact closely with the legal, regulatory, marketing and R&D functions to ensure all claims for products marketed by Colgate-Palmolive are fully substantiated.
Unilever
Born and raised in The Netherlands, Geert obtained a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology. He joined Unilever at its global R&D laboratory in Vlaardingen, Netherlands, working in the microscopy group of the analytical sciences department. He joined Unilever's global Foods Quality team after relocation to the US and redeveloped Unilever's foods GMPs and partnered with engineering in several factory design projects. He joined the company Quality team in 2017, with responsibility for Unilever's supplier, manufacturing and co-packer quality systems.

Mr. McCabe was most recently the IT leader for P&G's global Personal HealthCare (PHC) business and works on various merger & acquisition activities for P&G. He is currently responsible for the successful IT integration P&G's recent acquisition of Merck's Consumer HealthCare business into the PHC business unit, working closely with R&D, Quality Assurance, and a central global business services organization. A 19-year P&G employee, Mark is an experienced IT leader and program/project manager, with a strong track record in delivering infrastructure, IT sourcing, business services, commercial governance / deal assurance, and (once upon a time) systems development and integration. He has been focused on the R&D/Regulatory/Quality space for the last several years.
Danny is a Senior Business Process Analyst for Colgate-Palmolive in the Product Lifecycle Management space. In his 5 years working at Colgate, he has lead several end to end software initiatives to promote the use of regulatory & quality information, simplifying and automating steps in the product lifecycle. His major projects have focused on using pre-existing data to make better and more informed decisions throughout the design of a product. Danny graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering.
Personal Care Products Council
George is an Associate Director with the Global Strategies department of the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC); his regional policy portfolio covers Europe, Middle East and Africa. In this capacity, George has been responsible for industry advocacy for the overarching GSO framework for cosmetics (GSO 1943/2016); ingredient issues in the EU; developing US industry advocacy in Sub Saharan Africa; as well as numerous in-country industry issues. Prior to joining PCPC, he has worked on Capitol Hill; for a State advocacy firm in Massachusetts; for a management consulting firm; and for the European Commission Delegation in Athens, Greece.
Cosmetic Alliance Canada
As President & CEO of Canada's leading trade association for cosmetics and personal care products, Darren brings a wealth of experience in regulation, public policy and negotiating with governments. His long career includes nine years as a provincial Cabinet Minister where he was responsible for the re-organization of an entire health delivery system, as well as the negotiation of settlement agreements for century old aboriginal land claims. After public life, Darren joined the management team of Canadian Blood Services, Canada's national blood agency. In is current role, Darren has been successfully leading his industry's efforts to achieve the first major re-think of the regulatory framework for his sector by its regulator in over half a century, as well a working for greater international regulatory alignment to facilitate trade.

Ms. Phillips currently has responsibility on various merger & acquisition activities for P&G as well as global platform ownership and operational management, optimization and governance. She has current responsibility for the successful integration of P&G's recent acquisition of Merck's Consumer HealthCare business into the P&Gs R&D and Regulatory platforms and work processes, working closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and a central global business services organization. A 30-year P&G employee, Traci is an End to End experienced leader and program/project manager, with a strong track record in delivering solutions, processes, governance as well as commercial governance / deal assurance, and (once upon a time) QA compliance auditor. She has been focused on the R&D and Compliance space for the last several years. Traci studied mathematics at The University of Iowa and has worked in various P&G Manufacturing & R&D locations in Germany and the US.
Global Lead, Seeds Regulatory Knowledge Management
Shanna has extensive experience as a regulatory affairs manager in the agricultural industry with a thorough understanding of regulatory processes and requirements globally. In her current role leading the global regulatory knowledge management team, she provides strategic direction for processes and software to drive efficiency and quality and to provide for transparency and retention of institutional knowledge. Shanna holds bachelor’s degrees in botany and microbiology from North Carolina State University and a master’s in molecular plant pathology from Virginia Tech.

Ryan Fleser has more than 20 years of experience developing and improving quality and environmental management systems in a variety of manufacturing environments. He is the current director of Quality and EH&S at Uponor North America (Uponor) and is responsible for the quality system development, process standardization and improvement, supplier quality development, and ISO9001 and ISO14001 oversight at five locations in the U.S. and Canada, as well as leading the Uponor North America's ISO50001 effort.
Prior to Uponor, from 2009 to 2016, Ryan developed and implemented Daikin Applied's ISO14001 certified Environmental Management System across five facilities in North America. He is a participating member of the U.S. ISO Technical Advisory Groups 176 and 207, and has served as adjunct instructor at the Dunwoody College of Technology.

Kent has spent the majority of his career delivering technology-enabled training solutions to companies in highly regulated industries. He’s held leadership positions at industry leading companies such as AdMed, ClearPoint (Red Nucleus), UL EduNeering (UL), and now Veeva Systems.

Andy was named Web Industries' Vice President of Quality in 2018 and brings over 14 years of experience leading positive, transformative change in the aerospace and marine markets. In his role, Andy is responsible for delivering quality excellence throughout the enterprise by embracing market expertise, continuous improvement fundamentals, and employee ownership pride. Andy came to Web from the Rolls-Royce Corporation, where he most recently served as Global Director of Quality, HSE, Security and Business Improvement, Rolls-Royce Naval Marine. His entire career had been at Rolls-Royce where he has moved rapidly through their system with increasing levels of responsibility and a diverse range of assignments and leadership roles focused on culture, continuous improvement, program management and customer quality. He earned a B.S in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.

Benjamin Tanner is the President and CEO of Microchem Laboratory. He holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Arizona where he studied environmental infectious disease transmission under Dr. Charles Gerba. He is the author of the book, Legal Aspects of Infectious Diseases and has served as an expert microbiologist in dozens of infection-related lawsuits. He founded Antimicrobial Test Laboratories in 2006 and Cosmetic Test Labs in 2012, which were later combined with Microchem Laboratory. He served as CEO of Clinical Research Laboratories (including subsidiaries CRL Suncare and Vivo Clinical Testing) from 2016 until its recent acquisition by Eurofins. Dr. Tanner's current professional focus is the growth and development of Microchem Laboratory.

Angela Diesch has extensive experience representing cosmetics companies, in broad-based commercial, products liability and class action litigation, as well as regulatory advice and counsel. Angela helps companies navigate regulatory hurdles to ensure compliance with California state law and the statutes and regulations enforced by the Food and Drug Administration, the Federal Trade Commission and other regulatory agencies. Angela provides outside General Counsel services to cosmetic companies to meet the daily challenges that arise in the dynamic and competitive cosmetic industry.

Rhonda Jones, RM(NRM), is the Founder and President of Scientific & Regulatory Consultants, Inc. (SRC). With nearly 30 years of experience in federal regulatory affairs, she has unique insight into antimicrobial product development including test method design, testing strategy, management of studies, efficacy troubleshooting, technical support, quality control, and auditing. She has over 30 publications, has presented at numerous national association meetings, and assisted in the testing and registration of hundreds of antimicrobial products with the EPA, FDA, US states, Health Canada, and internationally.

Nicholas Georges joined HCPA in April 2017 as the Director, Scientific Affairs and has eventually become HCPA's Senior Director, Scientific & International Affairs. Georges was previously the Director of Regulatory Affairs for PLZ Aeroscience and the Technical Director for Nyco Products. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Chemistry and has a black belt in six sigma.
R&D Transformations
Naidu leads Accenture's North America R&D Consulting focused on Consumer Good Clients. He brings 22+ years of deep consulting experience and has shaped and delivered large end-to-end R&D transformation journeys for his clients, resulting in faster and successful new product launches. Prior to joining Accenture, Naidu led consulting projects in the Life Sciences Industry at Deloitte, Auto & Aerospace Industry at Dassault. Naidu holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Masters in Software Systems and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.

As a supplier quality engineer, Shane Allen focuses on building supplier partnerships with companies of varying sizes and from a range of different industries. He earned his bachelors of applied science in physics and a minor in mathematics from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. He helped select and bring Veeva QualityOne online within Uponor and has continued his work in the field of supplier quality. He enjoys reading to his daughter, hosting a bi-weekly game night, and camping.

As senior vice president and general manager at Veeva, Frank is responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and customer success of Veeva's regulatory, quality, and claims solutions for industries such as consumer goods, cosmetics, and chemicals.
Since 1999, Frank has provided strategic guidance and services to customers for cloud-based enterprise applications and platforms. An early cloud pioneer, he has managed hundreds of cloud implementations and brings a wealth of knowledge on how to evaluate, deliver, and support cloud technology.
Frank joined Veeva in 2008 to build its professional services function. Prior, he spent eight years at salesforce.com where he began as one of the company's first consultants and went on to hold various product management and sales positions. Before joining salesforce.com, Frank worked at Dell and Trilogy Software.
Frank graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and holds a bachelor's degree in economics.

Ed brings significant experience helping businesses gain traction and drive growth within new markets by focusing on customer success. Prior to joining Veeva, Ed led sales, marketing and business development functions at ClearCare, a vertical SaaS company servicing the home care market. At ClearCare, Ed managed the end-to-end business development processes from demand generation to contract close. Ed has also held sales leadership roles at several technology companies, including Legato Systems, Tivoli Systems, BEA, Adobe, and Salesforce.

Sagar Kulkarni is Principal PM Manager at Microsoft and is responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives at Microsoft's - Operations and the Sales & Marketing organizations. Prior to joining Microsoft, Sagar lead the Operational Excellence practice at Quest Diagnostics. He is a true believer in the power of people, process and technology and has consistently practiced this tenet to successfully drive change/transformations for 15+ years.
As the vice president of products, Derek is responsible for application product strategy and development for Veeva's regulatory, quality, and claims solutions for industries such as consumer goods, cosmetics, and chemicals. Derek brings to the team over 15 years of experience building high performance teams and enterprise software working across CRM, financial services and global hospitality industries. Derek holds a bachelor of science honors degree in computer science from McMaster University.
Jodi brings our team over 20 years of direct regulatory affairs experience across the consumer goods, chemicals, and cosmetics industries. As director of strategy for regulatory, Jodi represents the voice of the user for Veeva's regulatory product team, as well as being responsible for developing thought leadership content and industry influence strategies to drive brand awareness and product adoption. Jodi also leverages her long-standing relationships with regulatory agencies, regulators, testing labs, and consultants to ensure that our regulatory products and customers are keeping pace with the latest industry best practices. Prior to joining Veeva, Jodi spent her career in regulatory affairs, from managing established teams of regulatory affairs specialists, toxicologists, and environmental scientists at Clorox, to building the regulatory affairs departments at Bare Minerals and Yes To Naturals cosmetic and personal care companies. Jodi has a bachelor of science degree from Northern Illinois University.
As director of strategy for QualityOne, Sophia is the team’s resident quality subject matter expert and is responsible for developing thought leadership content, industry influence strategies, and sales and marketing collateral to drive brand awareness and product adoption. Sophia brings to the team over 10 years of direct quality experience in regulated industries. She began her career with the FDA working in CBER’s vaccine lot release program and later moved to the FDA’s office of regulatory affairs as a regulatory microbiologist. Additionally, Sophia has managed CAPA, complaints, audit, and deviation programs in the medical device industry. Sophia has a master of science in bioscience in regulatory affairs from Johns Hopkins University and is an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor..
As director of strategy at Veeva, John is responsible for overall strategic direction for the Veeva Claims application. This includes product roadmap prioritization, industry thought leadership, and strategies and tactics to drive awareness and interest within targeted verticals. John acts as the subject matter expert around claims and works closely with the sales team on new and existing accounts. John has over 15 years of experience in senior marketing roles across a variety of industries, including consumer products, healthcare, and health insurance. As associate director of marketing at The Clorox Company, John worked extensively in regulated categories, and led teams responsible for brand strategy and marketing, innovation, and channel marketing. John hold an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA from Harvard University.

Saif Al-Naib is a seasoned Product Manager responsible for Veeva's Regulatory solutions in industries outside of life sciences. Saif has spent many years in highly regulated industries building solutions for companies in energy, food and beverage and the airline industry to help them reduce their negative impacts to the environment and human safety.

Peter is a Senior Product Manager at Veeva Systems developing cloud Quality Management software solutions for the Consumer Goods, Chemicals, and Cosmetics markets. He has worked in a variety of industries including: cloud software, manufacturing of industrial inkjet systems and injection molding systems, nuclear power generation, and electrical transmission and distribution. Over the course of his career, Peter has held roles in Engineering, Quality, New Product Development, Strategy, and Product Management. His experience in Quality includes: addressing nonconformances from ISO 9001 compliance audits, developing Nonconformance processes, performing Incoming Inspections, conducting Internal Audits, leading Six Sigma Green Belt projects, assisting with Root Cause Analysis workshops, supporting Kaizen events, participating in FMEAs, implementing Supplier Quality initiatives, and managing new Product Development initiatives. He has a bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA specializing in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the Rotman School of Management.
