Doug has spent 25 years in the energy efficiency and sustainability field and is highly experienced in all aspects of the design, deployment and operations of voluntary market transformation programs. Prior to joining Green Seal in 2018, he held leadership positions at the U.S. Green Building Council and EPA. Doug brings strong product management experience, non-profit leadership experience, as well as formal education in economic and policy analysis. He was one of the founding team members of US EPA’s ENERGY STAR Buildings program, and at USGBC launched LEED for Building Operations & Maintenance. Doug holds a B.S. in Political Science from Duke and a M.S. degree in Energy and Environmental Policy from Georgetown.
