    Frank Defesche

    Senior Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Goods & Chemical

    As senior vice president and general manager of Veeva Consumer Goods & Chemical, Frank is responsible for the strategic direction, growth, and customer success of Veeva's quality applications outside life sciences.

    Since 1999, Frank has provided strategic guidance and services to customers for cloud-based enterprise applications and platforms. An early cloud pioneer, he has managed hundreds of cloud implementations and brings a wealth of knowledge on how to evaluate, deliver, and support cloud technology.

    Frank joined Veeva in 2008 to build its professional services function. Prior, he spent eight years at salesforce.com where he began as one of the company's first consultants and went on to hold various product management and sales positions. Before joining salesforce.com, Frank worked at Dell and Trilogy Software.

    Frank graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics.

    As the vice president of products, Derek is responsible for application product strategy and development for Veeva’s Consumer Goods and Chemical manufacturing products.

    Derek brings to the team over 15 years of experience building high performance teams and enterprise software working across CRM, financial services and global hospitality industries.

    Derek holds a bachelor of science honors degree in computer science from McMaster University.

    Ed brings significant experience helping businesses gain traction and drive growth within new markets by focusing on customer success.

    Prior to joining Veeva, Ed led sales, marketing and business development functions at ClearCare, a vertical SaaS company servicing the home care market. At ClearCare, Ed managed the end-to-end business development processes from demand generation to contract close.

    Ed has also held sales leadership roles at several technology companies, including Legato Systems, Tivoli Systems, BEA, Adobe, and Salesforce.

    As vice president of sales for North America, Greg is responsible for managing global sales efforts and building strategic relationships with leading companies across multiple verticals.

    Greg is an experienced executive who has spent over 15 years in enterprise software sales, most of which focused on mobile multi-tenant cloud based technologies. Before assuming his current role, Greg spent four years managing some of Veeva’s most strategic global client relationships.

    Prior to Veeva, Greg spent over a decade managing strategic accounts at Salesforce and Skura Corporation. Greg has a unique ability to build successful long-term client relationships.

    As vice president of marketing, Jennifer is responsible for building and executing an integrated marketing strategy to generate awareness, interest and demand for Veeva’s Consumer Goods and Chemical manufacturing products.

    Jennifer is a metrics-driven marketing executive with more than two decades of experience in B2B enterprise software marketing across multiple geographies, industries, and market segments.

    Jennifer is a graduate of Mount Allison University and also completed a post-graduate program in public relations and communications at Humber's School of Media Studies and Information Technology.

    As General Manager for Consumer Goods & Chemical in Europe, Romain is responsible for all field operations and strategy in the region. He brings 15 years of technology experience.

    Romain began his career at Business & Decision and then got into the software industry at Pivotal. After managing sales at Euris, he joined Veeva as the first French employee and held several sales management positions.

    Romain holds a degree in Computer Science from EFREI and a masters degree in Business and Management from University of Mary (USA).

    As director of strategy for QualityOne, Sophia is the team’s resident quality subject matter expert and is responsible for developing thought leadership content, industry influence strategies, and sales and marketing collateral to drive brand awareness and product adoption. Sophia brings to the team over 10 years of direct quality experience in regulated industries.

    She began her career with the FDA working in CBER’s vaccine lot release program and later moved to the FDA’s office of regulatory affairs as a regulatory microbiologist. Additionally, Sophia has managed CAPA, complaints, audit, and deviation programs in the medical device industry.

    Sophia has a master of science in bioscience in regulatory affairs from Johns Hopkins University and is an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor.

    As Vice President of strategy for Veeva's Consumer Goods industry practice, Bruce is responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy, providing market insights on new and evolving capabilities, and ultimately ensuring customer success.

    Bruce has a passion for sharing new ideas and turning them into tangible value. Prior to joining Veeva, Bruce developed and managed partnerships between SC Johnson's IT and global new product development, marketing, and sales leadership teams for the purpose of strategy and roadmap development, process and technology implementation, and service management. 

    Prior to S.C. Johnson, Bruce served as a member of Accenture's consumer goods and services North America leadership team where he was accountable for developing and delivering global client initiatives, leading domain offerings and partnerships, and was a frequent speaker at Accenture's consumer innovation center.
