N. Venkat Venkatraman is the David J. McGrath Jr. Professor of Management at Boston University Questrom School of Business. He is the author of The Digital Matrix: New Rules for Business Transformation through Technology (2023, 2nd edition) and has co-authored a 2022 article in the Harvard Business Review on the new digital advantage through datagraphs. He holds a joint appointment in the Information Systems and Strategy & Innovation departments. He’s previously taught at MIT Sloan School of Management and the London Business School. He has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, India, and a Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the University of Pittsburgh. He is recognized by Stanford as amongst the top 2% of all scientific researchers based on citations to his research.
